Interview of BRANDON CAMPBELL for DEATHSTORIES !

DEATHSTORIES: What’s up bro ? where do you live right now !
B.CAM: Hey, whats going on, at the moment im living in orange county california, with my girl friend.

DEATHSTORIES: When do you usualy skate ?skates do you have right now !?
B.CAM: I skate when ever I have time in between my busy days at the shop, I like skating where ever, I never have a certain town or spot that im at, as far as people I skate with would have to be the same, its just depends whos skating that day, im currently riding USD skates.

DEATHSTORIES: how did you become an hair cutter at the hawleywoods barbershop !?
B.CAM: I started working as a barber at Hawleywoods barbershop when my professional career as a skater started winding down, and at that time i was getting my haircut at the barbershop, so they all knew my situation, so they said become a barber, and thats what I did.

DEATHSTORIES: Tell me more about people who come to visit you at the shop! like Duane Peters and Jason Jesses for exemple and others!!i saw you in the clip of duanes ahah amazing!do you like the skateboarding punk rock culture?
B.CAM: Yeah we get alot of celebs coming in and out of here, especially all the old punk rock skaters and punk musicians, its a trip meeting and cutting their hair, after growing up looking up to these people,
yeah i always liked the whole greasy punk rock culture, that had to do with bikes, cars and punk rock, it was cool to me because it was away to tell people to fuck off hah!

DEATHSTORIES: Your influences?i mean,things who juice you to skate and destroy!?
B.CAM: I dont really get to juiced to skate on all of the new tricks going around these days, I like watching all skate videos, or when i go out with all the original guys that help push skating back in the day really gets me juiced to thrash!!

DEATHSTORIES: You hang out with Josh Petty! you both like olds schools american muscles cars and stuff rigth!!? so what was you first car ! what car do have right now!?and bike?
B.CAM: Yeah after all the O.G. skaters went there own way when rollerblading did away with us, Josh and I remained hangin out and staying very close we were always into the same thing, bikes cars and tattoos hah, best be watching out for J.P. “Moneys” come back section hah. First car I had is a funny question because it was Josh Pettys first car as well, it was a Kia spectra that i ran into the fucking ground haha, now I have a truck and 1981 El Camino and a 1995 Harley davidson dyna lowrider motor bike.

DEATHSTORIES: What was your last music show!?and the next one if you know?
B.CAM: Thelast band i went to see was throw rag , which is always a really rad band to watch, Sean wheeler is one of our really good friend so we are always down to support him. Not sure who i will see next, depends are who is playing!!

DEATHSTORIES: Your top five bands right now ?
B.CAM: Top five bands oh man, right now im into johnny thunders as always, Detroit cobras are awesome, Janis Joplin, The gun club and the Animals.

DEATHSTORIES: What do you think in general about the rollerblading right now?want to give a message or somethin?! or maybe you don’t think ahah!?!
B.CAM: I dont think to much of it right now hah, i dont really pay attention to it, my time in skating has come and gone, when i go out now days i just do what i think is cool.

DEATHSTORIES: A typical day of b.cam? and a typical week end!?mean party,activties and stuff…!
B.CAM: Tuesday through Saturday you can find me at the shop choppin mops, sunday and monday, im either drinking or skating haha and now surfing.

B.CAM: I would like to get back to france and run a fuckin muck hah, you guys should start a fund to fly me out hahaha.
